Managing Blog

1. Getting Started with Blogs

To initiate blog management, access your website's admin area and navigate to the "App Shop" and "Store" tabs. Locate the Blog module using the Quick search feature and install it on your website.

2. Configuring Blog Settings

After installation, head to the "Modules" and "Extensions" tabs. Select "Blog" from the Extension Modules list and click "Edit." Configure blog settings such as status, base URL, XML sitemap, and the ability to disable the blog for selected sales channels.

3. Creating Blog Categories

Move to the "Design and CMS," "Blog," and "Categories" tabs. Create new blog categories or edit/delete existing ones by utilizing the corresponding buttons.

While adding or editing a blog category, fill in necessary fields and explore other available options.

4. Managing Blog Tags

Navigate to the Tags tab. Create, edit, or delete blog tags as needed.

When adding or editing a blog tag, customize fields and explore additional options.

5. Crafting Blog Posts

Visit the "Posts" tab to create, edit, or delete blog posts. Toggle post status and RSS options, and perform batch actions like tag and category updates.

When adding or editing a blog post, explore options under Name and Description, Category & Tag, Main, SEO, Products, and Assign/Restrict tabs.

Name and Description Tab:

• Toggle post status and RSS switches.
• Fill in/edit Date Added field, Title, Description, Description links, and Short descriptions fields.

Category & Tag Tab:

• Choose blog categories and tags.
• Rearrange and delete selections.

Main Tab:

• Add Gallery image and Hero image.
• Upload images or link from the gallery.
• Follow image requirements.
• Delete or unlink images.

SEO Tab:

• Optimize SEO fields.

Products Tab:

• Choose associated blog products.
• Remove products.
• Rearrange product order.

Assign/Restrict Tab:

• Assign/unassign posts to the required sales channel.
