CVS Server Migration
The osCommerce development CVS server has migrated from SourceForge.net to SunSite.dk due to persisting problems experienced at SourceForge.
Migrating to SunSite.dk provides additional benefits such as having our own subdomain pointing to the CVS server, ViewCVS always being up-to-date, and the possibility to send better-to-understand HTML based emails showing the changes made in a CVS commit.
The CVS server can now be reached at cvs.oscommerce.com, with the same address providing an online browser with ViewCVS at:
https://cvs.oscommerce.com
The CVS Server page on the support site has been updated with the new CVS server information and can be reached at:
https://www.oscommerce.com/community/cvs
Those subscribed to the CVS commit mailing list would have noticed a few HTML based emails showing development changes in colours. This method of showing development changes will be used when our mailing list archival services are able to correctly archive HTML based emails.
An example of the HTML based output can be seen here:
https://www.oscommerce.com/ext/1158.html
This allows the HTML based commit emails to link directly to ViewCVS and the Bug Reporter when bug reports are fixed.
We'd like to thank SourceForge for their CVS services provided so far, and to SunSite.dk for their services provided from here onwards.
