Assisting businesses with optimizing their
order fulfillment via warehouse priority module
can be done by selecting the most suitable warehouse for each order.
When placing an order, a priority is given to a warehouse which best meets certain rules. Thus,
automatic warehouse selection via warehouse priority module
is done.
There are three predefined rules which can be configured in the backend: Ordered quantity coverage, Distance to Warehouse and Warehouse Stock.
When an order is placed, the module gives priority to the warehouse that best meets the configured rules. Businesses can choose which rules to use by turning them on or off in the module's backend settings.
Ordered quantity coverage in warehouse priority module
displays as a percentage the ability of the warehouse to cover the quantity of products in the order.
Distance to Warehouse in warehouse priority module
considers the distance from each warehouse to the store.
Warehouse Stock in warehouse priority module
shows the physical number of items in stock.
If two rules have the same value, the rule listed higher in the priority order will be used first.
Manual priority adjustment via warehouse priority module
can be done by businesses to override the automatic selection.
