Subscribers can
select newsletter parts to receive via Subscription module
. This is useful when subscribers prefer to receive only specific information, such as news, discounts, or information about a particular manufacturer.
To use the subscription module, the Newsletter module (with Mailchimp integration) must be installed and configured first. In the admin area, you can
add subscriber lists manually or import from Mailchimp
. Users can
specify tags for languages when managing subscriber lists
, and fill in other fields.
Subscriber lists can be exported back to Mailchimp in two ways: via a List (where a subscriber is added to a few lists) or via a Tag (where a subscriber is assigned to the primary list and marked with a tag). To use this feature, tags must be created in Mailchimp. It is recommended to have one list with tags and tag segmentation.
It is possible to
filter customers via subscriber lists
if there is at least one subscriber. On the front end, separate pages are added to accounts, where customers can choose which e-newsletter parts they want to receive. These same lists also show up on the subscribe page.

This module is used in the backend and on the front end and its settings can be found under Modules and Extensions tabs.
