Customers can negotiate reasonable prices for products with the seller or administrator, as well as
pre-order out-of-stock items with Quotations module
. They can
request specific products, categories or all products for quote
.
To use the module, customers submit a quote request for a particular product through the website. This can be done either as a guest or through their customer account. Once the administrator receives the request, they are notified via email. Customers are also informed about the status of their quote request. By default, the quotation status is "Awaiting Confirmation.
After the administrator approves the quotation, it is converted into an order. The customer receives an update email with the order status and an invoice. At this point, the order status changes to "Pending." Also customers can
view quotation details in accounts

cancel or reorder orders and display invoices with Quotations module
.
