Protect your admin area with Google's two-factor authentication
to validate users' identities for accessing websites and services. Google Authenticator is a mobile security application that implements this two-factor authentication on your web site.
When logging into your web-store's admin area, the system will display a
QR code for scanning with Google Authenticator
application on your device. After scanning, you will be prompted to enter a one-time passcode received on your device. This process ensures that the individual entering login information possesses the device with the Google Authenticator application installed.
The
Google Authenticator application generates a six-digit passcode
based on the time-based one-time password system, with the passcode changing every 30 seconds. One-time passcode verification ensures that only authorized users can access the admin area.
Simplify subsequent logins with Google Authenticator,
making the login process quick and convenient. The next time you log into the web-store admin area, you will only need to enter a one-time Google Authenticator code.
